Cinematic avatars, new AI models, and a redesigned editor

A major update to how you create — a new way to work with AI avatars, more avatar and voice models to choose from, and a completely redesigned video editor.

    Cinematic AI Avatars

Bring a character to life in any scene. Upload a reference image, describe the shot you want, and DeepReel generates a cinematic video with your character staying consistent throughout. Your avatar acts out the scene — walking, talking, moving through environments, and performing across one or more shots. Perfect for storytelling and film-like videos.

Create new styles for your custom avatars

Finding the right avatar is faster and clearer now. Avatars are grouped by person — one card each — so you scan faces first, then dive in to see every style. And for avatars you own, you can generate brand-new styles on demand, whenever you need them.

    New avatar and voice models

You have more control over quality and cost.

Photo avatars now come in two models — pick fast to keep costs down, or high for maximum quality.

Voices can be filtered by provider — jump straight to Minimax, Gemini, or ElevenLabs, with more providers on the way.

    A redesigned video editor

Editing got a major upgrade. The new timeline-based editor brings the avatar and voice features into one place, so you can build longer, multi-scene videos without leaving the canvas.

    • Templates — start from the library, or save your own to reuse.
    • Precise control over every part of your video.
